HaulProfit — Know a load's real profit before you book it
HaulProfit is a profitability and negotiation tool for truckers and freight factors. It takes a load you are already looking at — its rate, miles, origin and destination — and instantly tells you whether it actually makes money once your real costs are counted: fuel, deadhead, tolls, maintenance, insurance and fixed overhead. Instead of guessing from rate-per-mile, you see a clear go / negotiate / pass verdict plus the price you need to make the load worth taking. It works across the 17 load boards you already use, in your browser, on your phone, by photo, email, or text.
What does HaulProfit do?
HaulProfit turns a posted rate into a real-profit decision. You give it the load details and your own cost numbers; it returns the true profit, the break-even rate, and a suggested counter-offer so you can negotiate from facts instead of gut feel.
Every number is yours: your truck's fuel economy, your fixed monthly costs, your lane preferences. The verdict reflects how your business actually runs, not a generic market average.
How does HaulProfit calculate a load's profit?
It starts from the offered rate and total miles, then subtracts variable costs (fuel based on your MPG and current diesel price, deadhead miles to pickup, tolls, and per-mile maintenance) and a share of your fixed costs (truck payment, insurance, permits). What remains is your real profit and profit-per-mile for that specific load.
Who is HaulProfit for?
Owner-operators and small fleets who book their own freight, and freight factoring companies who want their clients to take profitable loads. Truckers use it to decide and negotiate; factors use it to reduce risky, money-losing loads in their portfolio.
Frequently asked questions
Is HaulProfit a load board?
No. HaulProfit does not post or broker freight. It works alongside the load boards you already use and tells you whether a load is profitable before you book it.
Does HaulProfit work on my phone?
Yes. You can score a load in the browser extension, in the mobile app, or by sending a photo of a rate confirmation, forwarding a broker email, or texting the load details.
How is this different from looking at rate-per-mile?
Rate-per-mile ignores deadhead, tolls, your real fuel burn, and fixed overhead. HaulProfit counts all of them, so two loads with the same rate-per-mile can land on opposite sides of profitable.
Is HaulProfit an expense tracker?
No. Expense trackers tell you what a load earned after you hauled it. HaulProfit decides profit before you commit — it scores and compares loads while they are still on the board, so you book the one that actually pays.
